About College:

The Government First Grade College, Gokak is government Institution managed fully by the government and is established in the year 2007. This College is affiliated to Rani Channamma University, Belagavi. Shri Mahesh Y Kambar is the Principal of the college.

The Government First Grade College, Gokak is aimed at providing higher education to financially poor and socially backward students in various streams and courses recognized by UGC of India. Initially the college started with undergraduate courses in Arts, Commerce and Management with an intake of 60 students in each course. In the year 2010 it has also started the Bachelor of Science course. At present the college runs the following 3 courses.
